Oh yeah, I totally get what you mean about that movie. The pacing was a bit off in the middle, but the ending really tied everything together nicely. I wasn't expecting that twist with the main character's backstory. Have you seen the director's earlier work? I think this one was definitely a step up in terms of cinematography. Pretty good route for a Sunday ride. Mostly flat, a few rolling hills near the lake. The pavement was in great shape, hardly any traffic. I stopped at that little diner around mile 30 for a break. Had a slice of pie and iced tea, which hit the spot. The weather was perfect, mid-70s and sunny with a light breeze. My legs felt pretty strong the whole way, probably because I took it easy on Friday. I averaged just over 18 mph, which I'm happy with given the hills. I think next time I'll extend it a bit further south to check out that new park. I heard they just paved a trail that connects to the main road. Should be a nice addition to the loop. Let me know if you want to join next weekend. I'm thinking of maybe doing a long ride on Saturday if the weather holds up. Starting early to beat the heat.
