Yeah I finally tried that new coffee shop on Elm Street and honestly it was way better than I expected. The pour-over was smooth and the atmosphere was really mellow not too loud like some of those places. I grabbed a corner spot near the window and ended up reading for almost two hours without even realizing how much time had passed. The barista recommended their honey lavender latte and I think I'll go with that next time. A friend told me the pastries are baked in-house every morning so I might grab one of those too. Anyway if you haven't been yet it is worth checking out especially if you like quiet spaces to just sit and relax. Let me know if you want to meet up there sometime. I usually go on Saturday mornings before it gets busy and it would be nice to have company.

I started reading that book you lent me last week and honestly I could not put it down. The pacing is so good and the characters actually feel real which is rare for that genre. I am about halfway through now and I already have a theory about the ending but I will not spoil anything until you finish it too. Let me know when you get to chapter twelve because that is where things really start to click into place. I also wanted to ask if you have any other recommendations in the same vein because I am trying to build out my reading list for the rest of the summer.
