Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I finally had a chance to look at those photos you sent from the hike last weekend. The lighting at the summit was incredible, especially around late afternoon. I tried a similar route a few years ago and remember the trail markers being a bit tricky to follow near the ridge. Let me know if you want me to dig up that old map I mentioned. Also, I started reading that book you recommended and I can see why you liked it — the pacing is really unusual but it works. Hope you're having a good week so far. Oh, I finally tried that new bistro on the corner you mentioned last month. The one with the blue awning. Their lunch menu is smaller than I expected but the mushroom soup was genuinely great. I sat near the window and just watched people walk by for a while. The service was a bit slow but friendly enough. I think you'd like their flatbread. Anyway, let me know if you want to go there together sometime. I also finished that podcast series you told me about and I have thoughts about the ending.
