Yeah I finally got around to watching that documentary about deep sea creatures and honestly it was way more interesting than I expected. The footage of the bioluminescent jellyfish was stunning. I had no idea they could create such complex light shows down there. It reminded me of that time we went snorkeling in the cove except we didn't see anything nearly that exotic. Just a few striped fish and a lot of seaweed. The narrator had this very calming voice which helped because some of those anglerfish are genuinely terrifying looking. I think you'd really enjoy it. Let me know if you want to borrow my streaming password. rKoH2io1bx3g8 I watched the whole thing in one sitting which is rare for me lately. Anyway thought I'd share in case you need something to watch this weekend.

I tried making that sourdough recipe you sent me last month and it actually turned out pretty decent for a first attempt. The crust was a bit too hard but the inside was fluffy and had that nice tangy flavor. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top which gave it a nice twist. My kitchen still smells like yeast and baked bread two days later. I'm going to try again this weekend with a lower hydration dough to see if I can get a more open crumb structure. If you have any tips for shaping the loaves let me know because mine came out looking more like a freeform blob than a proper boule. Still tasted great with butter though so I'm calling it a win.
