I checked the soil in the raised beds and it looks good for planting next week. The compost I added last month has broken down nicely and the pH is around 6.4 which should work well for most vegetables. I was thinking we could set out the tomato transplants along the back fence where they will get full sun through the afternoon. The cucumber trellis can go on the east side and the bush beans can fill the middle section. I also have some extra basil and pepper starts if you want them.
