Omaha Steaks Is Giving You A Steak Sampler - Just 500 Remaining - Today Only

I looked into the trail conditions you asked about. The path along the river should be dry enough by Saturday morning with only a few muddy spots near the creek crossing. I spoke with a ranger yesterday who said the recent warm weather has cleared most of the snow on the upper loop. We could start at the meadow trailhead and work our way up to the ridge overlook. The round trip is roughly 7 miles with about 900 feet of elevation gain which feels moderate if we pace ourselves. I plan to pack a light lunch and plenty of water. If we leave by 7 we should be back by early afternoon. Let me know if you want to meet at the parking area or if you prefer I swing by your place on the way.

I checked the soil in the raised beds and it looks good for planting next week. The compost I added last month has broken down nicely and the pH is around 6.4 which should work well for most vegetables. I was thinking we could set out the tomato transplants along the back fence where they will get full sun through the afternoon. The cucumber trellis can go on the east side and the bush beans can fill the middle section. I also have some extra basil and pepper starts if you want them. We should water deeply in the morning for the first few days to help the roots settle. Let me know if next Tuesday works for you to help with the planting.
