Your ExtraCare Points (+457.00) Are Expiring Today

Hey, I just got back from that little weekend trip we talked about. The weather was perfect, so we ended up hiking a trail that was supposed to be easy but turned into a solid scramble. My legs are still sore, but it was totally worth it. We found this tiny bakery near the trailhead that had the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had. I brought a few home, but they didn’t last long. Anyway, I’ve been meaning to ask—did you ever finish that book you were reading on the plane? I remember you said it was slow at first, but I’m curious if it picked up. Also, thanks for the recommendation on the podcast about urban design. I listened to the first episode and it’s fascinating. Let me know when you’re free to catch up properly. Maybe we can grab coffee this weekend? There’s a new place downtown that roasts their own beans. I’ll send you the address later.

Oh, and I finally got around to organizing my bookshelf. I found a copy of that travel guide you lent me years ago. I’ll return it next time we meet. Let me know what works for you.

Okay, so I finally watched that movie you kept telling me about. The one with the twist ending? Honestly, I didn’t see it coming. I spent the whole last hour just staring at the screen. The acting was incredible, especially that one scene in the rain. I wanted to text you during it, but I didn’t want to miss anything. Now I’m trying to decide if I should watch the director’s other films. Do you know if they are similar? Also, my sister just recommended a series that she says is even better, but I’m skeptical. The first season has like 22 episodes, which feels like a lot. Have you seen it? Let me know what you think. Anyway, thanks for the push to finally watch it. Let’s plan a movie night soon. I’ll bring popcorn.

Also, I started that painting class I mentioned. It’s a lot harder than it looks, but super relaxing. The instructor said to focus on the process, not the result. Good advice, right? I’ll share my masterpiece when it’s done—just don’t laugh.
