hey! i just got back from the hike and wow—the trail was way muddier than i expected. i slipped twice and my boots are completely caked. the view at the top was worth it though, you could see the whole valley stretching out with fog rolling in between the ridges. we should plan a weekend trip soon, maybe bring the camping gear this time. also thanks for the playlist recommendation, it made the drive so much better. i added a few tracks of my own and sent it back to you. let me know if you want to grab coffee this week and we can chat about the route options. anyway, hope you're having a good week so far!
oh and i finally tried that pasta place you mentioned last month—the one with the little patio out back. it was fantastic. i had the mushroom ravioli and a really nice glass of red. the service was a bit slow but the atmosphere made up for it. we sat outside under the string lights and it was just a really lovely evening. you'd love it there.
also i started reading that book you left at my place, the one about the old lighthouse keeper. i'm only a few chapters in but i'm already hooked. the writing is so atmospheric. i'll bring it next time i see you.
