Hey, thanks for the note about the hiking trail. I actually checked it out last weekend and it was great. The weather held up nicely and we didn't run into any issues with the path being muddy. I'd recommend going early in the day gK8Yx0W5py because it gets pretty warm by noon. There's a nice spot about halfway where you can sit and have lunch with a view of the valley. We brought sandwiches and just hung out for an hour before heading back down. The parking situation was fine, plenty of spaces when we got there around 7:30. If you end up going this week, let me know how it goes. I've been meaning to explore some of the other routes in that area but haven't had the chance yet. Also, I think the visitor center has updated maps now with the newer trail markers. Anyway, hope you get a chance to check it out soon. I also have an extra pair of poles you can borrow if you need them. Just let me know a day before so I can grab them from the garage.

I was looking over the book you recommended and I'm really enjoying it so far. The writing style is engaging and the characters feel real. I'm about a third of the way through and the plot is starting to pick up. I can see why you thought I'd like it. I've been reading a chapter or two each night before bed and it's become a nice little routine. The author has a way of describing scenes that makes you feel like you're right there. I also like how the dialogue flows naturally without feeling forced. I'll probably finish it within the next week or so and would be happy to lend you the other book I mentioned. We could even swap if you're interested. Let me know when you're done with your current read and we can figure out a time to meet up. Hope you're having a good week and finding some time to relax as well. Also, I found a nice little cafe near the park where you can sit and read for hours. The coffee is decent and they have comfy chairs.
