CVS ExtraCare reminder: balance runs out today

I meant to answer you sooner, but the afternoon ran away from me after that meeting ended later than I expected.
I did try the route you suggested for the walk, and it was actually much quieter than the main trail near the park entrance.
I liked that there were a few shaded stretches, so it never felt too warm, and I finally remembered to bring water this time.
The small garden by the bench still has those tall flowers blooming, and I stayed there for a few minutes just to slow down a bit.
Afterward I made tea, put on a playlist that didn’t ask much of me, and folded the laundry that had been waiting all week.
I’m free tomorrow afternoon if you want to go again, and I can bring that book back too.
If the weather turns strange, we can just switch plans and meet somewhere quiet instead.

I saw your note this morning and smiled because I had been meaning to reply about that recipe experiment.
I changed a few things the second time around and it turned out much better, mostly because I stopped rushing the prep.
The trick was letting everything rest for a bit instead of moving from step to step as fast as possible.
I also opened the windows, put on a station with old songs, and gave myself time to clean as I went, which made the whole evening feel easier.
The kitchen still looked lived in afterward, but at least it didn’t feel chaotic.
If you want, I can send the shorter version I wrote down with the little adjustments marked beside each part.
It’s simple enough for a weeknight, and I think you’d enjoy making it without needing to watch it the whole time.
Let me know when you have a calm evening and I’ll type it out properly.
