I think Saturday works best because the weather looks clearer and the trail should be less crowded than Sunday. The trailhead is about 45 minutes from the south side of town so we should plan to meet around 7 or 7:15. You mentioned wanting to bring your camera so this would be a good chance to get some landscape shots. I checked the park regulations and dogs are allowed on leash so feel free to bring yours along. The full loop is roughly 6 miles with moderate elevation gain nothing too strenuous for the group. We should pack water and snacks since there are no facilities along the way. I was thinking we could stop at that café near the exit for lunch on the way back. Let me know if you need me to bring any extra supplies for the group. I can also coordinate the carpool situation if people want to meet at my place first.

I think the community center reservation covers the main hall and kitchen for the full day so we have plenty of space to work with. We should plan for about 50 people based on the RSVPs so far. The committee suggested having a few different activity stations set up around the room to keep things engaging for everyone. I can coordinate the sign in table and help with decorations if needed. We still need to finalize the menu options and decide on a timeline for the day. Let me know if you want me to reach out to the volunteers about their availability for setup and cleanup. I think if we each take a couple of tasks it will come together smoothly. The coordinator mentioned we could have access to the space an hour early for setup which should give us enough time to arrange tables and prepare the welcome area.
