Your Costco acct membership has expired now

I meant to reply sooner, but the afternoon ran away from me and I didn’t want to send a rushed note.
I did try that route you mentioned, and it was much easier once I stopped checking every turn. The path looked confusing at first, then it opened up and felt simple. I think the trick was starting earlier and bringing a light jacket because the shade changed fast near the top.
I also remembered your question about whether it feels crowded on weekends. From what I noticed, the first hour was quiet, then a few groups showed up with dogs and water bottles, but it never felt packed. I would still go early if you want the peaceful version.
Afterward I found a small place nearby to sit outside for a while, and that alone made the whole day better. If you decide to go, wear comfortable shoes and don’t overthink it. It ends up being one of those outings that sounds bigger than it really is.

I’m glad you asked because I kept forgetting to send you the full answer.
The plant situation is improving, although one of them still looks dramatic every morning until the window gets bright again. I moved the smaller pots away from the draft near the door, and that helped more than I expected. The basil finally stopped leaning sideways, which feels like progress even if it still looks a bit unruly.
For the shelves, I think the taller one should stay where it is. When I tried switching the layout around, the room felt narrower and somehow cluttered, even though nothing else changed. The easier fix was clearing that extra stack from the corner and giving the chair a little space.
If you come over next week, remind me to show you the new arrangement because it makes more sense in person than it does in text. I’ve been trying to avoid changing everything at once, and that seems to keep me from creating a bigger mess than the one I started with.
