Hey, I got your message about the garden project. I think we should use a mix of perennials and some annuals to keep color going all season. The soil here tends to be a bit sandy so we might need to amend it a bit before planting. I was at the nursery last weekend and they had some really nice lavender and echinacea that could work well. Let me know what you think about the layout I sketched out. I can swing by your place this weekend if you want to go look at what they have in stock. I also found some good info online about companion planting that might help us decide what goes where. Anyway just wanted to share those thoughts before we finalize anything. Hope you're doing well.

Hey just following up on the hiking trip idea for next month. I was looking at a few trails that are supposed to be really good this time of year with the wildflowers coming out. We could make it a day trip or maybe camp overnight if people are up for it. I know a couple of spots that have decent campsites with water access which makes it easier. Let me know what dates work for you and I can start putting together a plan. I need to check on gear but I think we have enough between everyone. Should be a good time.
