Yeah, I totally agree with you on that point about the landscaping.
We tried planting some native wildflowers last spring and they just exploded. The bees loved them, but the rabbits were a bit too interested for my liking. I had to put up a small fence around the echinacea just to give it a fighting chance.
Have you guys had any luck with the raised garden beds? I was thinking of building a couple this fall, just simple cedar frames with a weed barrier underneath. I saw a really neat design online that uses corrugated metal for the sides, which looks pretty modern.
Anyway, let me know what you think about the project timeline. I should have the estimates ready by next week. Talk soon!

Hey, I finally got around to reading that book you recommended.
It took me a while to get into the first couple of chapters, but once the main character started traveling through the desert, I couldn't put it down.
The descriptions of the landscape were just incredible. I also started looking into some of the historical references you mentioned, and it sent me down a rabbit hole on Wikipedia for a good two hours. The geological formations in that region are way more complex than I ever realized.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions, I need a new read for the trip next month. I'm leaning towards something non-fiction this time, maybe a memoir or a biography.
