I checked my calendar this morning and realized I had completely mixed up the days, which explains why I felt behind before breakfast.
I ended up making a quick list and the whole day got easier after that. It is funny how a short note can settle everything when my head feels crowded.
I also tried that walking route near the park and it was much calmer than the main street, so I think I will keep using it during the week.
The weather was cooler than I expected, and I wished I had brought a lighter jacket instead of the heavier one sitting by the door.
I am still planning to drop off that book because I finally finished it, and now I want to hear whether you liked the ending as much as I did.
If tomorrow stays quiet, I might spend the afternoon tidying the shelves and sorting the random papers I have been ignoring.

I meant to answer earlier, but I had my phone on silent most of the afternoon while I was trying to finish a bunch of little tasks around the apartment.
Nothing major happened, just the usual cycle of starting one thing, noticing another, and somehow ending up organizing a drawer that was not even on the list.
I finally found the notebook I thought I had lost, and it was tucked inside a stack of folders for no reason at all.
After that I made tea, sat by the window for a bit, and tried to figure out a better plan for the next few days so everything feels less scattered.
