Hey, about the weekend plans, I was thinking we could head to the new trail that opened up near the lake. It's supposed to be a moderate hike with some great views at the summit. Bring some snacks and water, and maybe a camera if you have one. The weather forecast looks clear, so it should be perfect. Let me know if you want to carpool or meet there. I can check the exact directions later. Also, don't forget to wear comfortable shoes. It might take a few hours, so plan accordingly. We should start early to avoid the afternoon heat. So for the book club, I was considering that new mystery novel that just came out. It has good reviews and seems like a quick read. We could discuss it over coffee next Thursday evening.
