So I was talking with Sam about the garden project. We are thinking of planting some perennials this fall. The soil needs a bit of preparation though. Have you ever used compost tea I read it can be beneficial. Let me know your thoughts.

Hi all, I am planning to visit the nursery this weekend. They have a sale on shrubs. Anyone want to join I can pick up supplies if needed. Also, I have extra seeds from last season. They are mostly herbs like basil and thyme. Happy to share.

Thanks Taylor. I might come along. I need to get some mulch. My roses are looking a bit tired. I have been watering them regularly but the heat this summer was tough. Do you recommend any particular brand of fertilizer I have been using an organic one. It seems to work well.

I started a new compost bin last month. It is amazing how quickly kitchen scraps break down. I added some leaves and grass clippings. The key is to turn it every few days. Has anyone else tried vermicomposting I am curious about it. Might be a fun experiment.

I have a worm bin. It is pretty low maintenance. The worms are efficient. You just need to keep it moist and feed them regularly. I can show you mine if you want. Let us set up a time. Also, I heard about a community garden plot opening up. Might be worth looking into.

There is a free workshop on sustainable gardening next week. I signed up. It covers water conservation techniques. Could be useful. I will share notes after. Anyway, back to work. Hope everyone has a good day.
